Integrative Healing in Los Angeles, CA & Online
We all reach a moment when the call becomes too loud to ignore. For me, that moment came after years of grief, trauma, and disconnection.
Sacral Root was born from my own healing — and a desire to walk alongside others in theirs.
ABOUT SACRAL ROOT
Sacral Root is a space for psychotherapy and embodied healing, grounded in somatic awareness, relational depth, and nervous system–informed care.
This work is guided by a reverence for both modern clinical frameworks and the body’s innate capacity for regulation, integration, and change.
Whether you choose the path of psychotherapy or alternative healing practices—including conscious connected breathwork, Reiki, and sound—all work at Sacral Root is held with the same core values: cultural humility, attunement, and care that honors the whole person.
ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Chelsea. I hold a Master’s degree in Humanistic Clinical Counseling and am trained in psychodynamic therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, and trauma-informed somatic approaches. My work is relational and embodied, supporting clients in noticing patterns as they arise emotionally, physically, and in relationship—so healing can occur where those patterns actually live: in the nervous system and within relationships.
Alongside my clinical training, I draw from evidence-informed practices that honor human strengths, growth, and resilience, as well as specialized training in human sexuality, intimacy, and relational dynamics informed by a background in somatic sex and relationship coaching. With a deep understanding of how change unfolds across the body, emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and unconscious patterns, I offer a collaborative and experiential approach—helping insight move beyond understanding and into lived experience, so change becomes something you can feel, trust, and sustain over time.
Forever curious. Always learning. Continually growing.
My own healing journey has taken me beyond traditional therapy spaces and into ceremonial and ancestral ways of healing. I have learned through shamanic ritual, somatic breathwork, energy-based practices, yoga, dance, and the restorative frequencies of sound—experiences that continue to deepen my understanding of how presence, regulation, and transformation occur in the body.
I have been shaped by devoted and masterful teachers who are rooted in both science and the sacred—practitioners who live their work with integrity, humility, and embodiment.
Collectively, these lineages inform how I hold space today: I approach this work as an attuned and intentional process—rooted in nervous system awareness, relational safety, and a deep respect for your lived experience. Together, we move at a pace that honors your story and the wisdom already alive within you.
HOW I CHOOSE TO HOLD SPACE
Cultivating safety — a trauma-informed, collaborative space that unfolds at your pace.
Relational depth — the way we connect becomes part of the work itself.
Holistic integration — sessions attend to mind, body, and spirit as it relates to you.
Practical impact — you leave with experiences you can integrate into daily life.
Relationship is the root of the work I do— not just the one you hold with yourself or others, but the one we cultivate together.
True change doesn’t happen in theory alone. It happens experientially, in the body, in the nervous system, and in the shared container we create.
Through conscious connected breathwork, Reiki, sound healing, and integrative psychotherapy, I support individuals, couples, and groups in creating embodied shifts that ripple outward into every part of their lives.
