SACRAL ROOT

Rooted in Healing. Expanding Possibility.

I help people shift old patterns, reclaim their voice, and feel at home in their bodies again.

This space was made for you.

Wherever you are right now — that's the starting point.

Not where you think you should be. Not after you've tried a few other things first. Right here, in this season, with whatever you're holding. This is where we begin.

Some people come in the middle of a crisis. Others come during a quiet stretch when something just feels... off. Many come simply because they're ready to feel more like themselves. There is no wrong reason, and no wrong time.

You are welcome here exactly as you are.

HOW HEALING UNFOLDS HERE

Distinct paths. One grounded philosophy of care.

Healing often begins with insight, but lasting change asks for more. My work centers relational, experiential, and embodied practices—integrating evidence-based psychotherapy with select Eastern healing approaches—to support meaningful shifts where patterns actually live: in the nervous system. Through attuned relationship, depth-oriented exploration, and gently guided experiences, new neural pathways can begin to form. Over time, insight moves beyond the intellectual and becomes something your body knows how to hold and sustain.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy at Sacral Root is a relational, embodied process that supports meaningful change beyond insight alone. Grounded in evidence-based practice and somatic awareness, therapy attends to patterns as they emerge in real time—emotionally, physically, and relationally—so regulation, clarity, and self-trust can develop in ways that feel lived rather than forced.

Conscious Connected Breathwork

A two-hour, in-person ceremonial breathwork experience using conscious-connected breathing, rhythmic music, and optional Reiki assists to support emotional processing, nervous system resilience, and embodied clarity. This is an active, immersive journey for those seeking deep inner exploration and integration.

Hi, I’m Chelsea. I’m a psychodynamic therapist, somatic coach, and Reiki master.

My work is informed by both modern clinical training and years of embodied learning beyond traditional therapy spaces. I have studied and practiced somatic breathwork, energy-based practices, sound healing, and ceremonial rituals, alongside rigorous psychotherapeutic frameworks.

Together, these lineages shape how I hold space today—with relational depth, attentiveness, attunement to the nervous system, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience.

I’ve had the honor of supporting my clients through truly meaningful shifts.

FROM SHAME TO INTIMACY

A client once came to me ashamed of his past relationships and unable to be intimate with his partner. Through psychodynamic depth work and intentionally guided inner-experiences, he learned to release old narratives that had lived in his body for years. Today, he and his partner have an active sex life and are planning for a family — something he once thought was impossible.

FROM GUARDED TO GROUNDED

Another client, carried a quiet ache—resentment in her 10-year relationship, disconnection from joy, and a longing for home she couldn’t quite name. Together, we worked with her body, her voice, and the tender parts of herself she had long protected. What began as a struggle with partnership dynamics became a deeper journey of softening, letting go of old narratives, and reclaiming joy. The result wasn’t just a stronger relationship — it was her reclaimed sense of self.

FROM SURVIVAL TO THRIVING

Other clients I’ve worked with have broken free from cycles of unhealthy relationships and reclaimed their confidence after sexual trauma. Many have learned how to expand their capacity for pleasure while staying anchored in safety, and discovered intimacy as a space of curiosity, play, and creativity. These shifts don’t happen overnight, but through consistent practice, clients begin to experience relationships — with themselves and others — as more authentic, nourishing, and alive.

You don’t need to have everything figured out.

Only a willingness to slow down, notice what’s happening, and engage the process with curiosity and care.

Many people who find their way here are reflective and self-aware, yet still feel stuck in familiar patterns. You may sense that your body carries important information alongside your thoughts—and want support that honors both.
